８月２日（金）仙台銀行ホール　イズミティ21（仙台市泉文化創造センター）において、宮城県吹奏楽コンクール小編成の部が開催され、吹奏楽部が金賞を受賞しました。
さらに、県代表に選ばれ、９月８日（日）岩手県奥州市文化会館で開催される東北吹奏楽コンクールへの出場が決まりました。
